Marion, Ky

 

Track Description: The Marion track is located in the Crittenden County fairgrounds close to the central downtown area. It is a second gear, clay oval short track. There are uncovered grandstands on both straights of the track.  Track visibility is excellent from the stands. A wooden horse fence surrounds the track for spectator protection. Hay bales are set up at critical points. There are a limited number of water and electricity hookups for  RV’s. Restrooms are portable. There is an operating concession stand. Entrance roads are gravel, pit parking is grass. There is ample parking.

 

Directions: Come to the intersection of US 60 and Hwy 120 in downtown Marion as shown on the courtesy Mapquest map link below. Go East on 120. Less than ½ mile, take first left past the railroad crossing onto Old Shady Grove Rd. Wind around a bit and take left onto Guess Dr. Take first fairground entrance on right and swing around to the far side of the track and the pit area if racing. Spectator parking is immediately inside entrances.
