2004-2005 Indoor Dirt Track Series: Round 3 Pearson Dominates Du Quoin Rob Pearson showed up in Du Quoin tonight and put on a riding clinic as he took multiple wins in the Short Track and TT. Pearson started the show with a hole shot in the twelve-rider Open Pro Short Track.
He kept a low line and held it there a few lengths ahead of Kevin Snyder and Brad Furlong. Jason Goodwin had been riding the top of the track and moved into fourth over Tyler Shepherd. Pole-sitter Aaron Ladd moved from the penalty row through the field to sixth past Chris Boone, Dustin Crow, Dean Faulkner, John Faulkner, Bill Gruwell and Jon Goodwin.
Pearson did an instant replay in the 505 class with 450 winner Ladd waiting for a mistake. Pearson ran on a rail and led Ladd, Furlong, Snyder and Goodwin to the flag.
Pearson continued the run by taking the lead in the Open Pro TT and holding Snyder off for the win. Snyder finally found the needed hole-shot in the 505 Pro TT and kept Pearson and Ladd at bay to take the win.
Snyder did likewise in the 450 class also taking a close win over fast closing Shepherd and Brian Hopper.
